A joint venture between Hoggs of Fife and Gamesport of Ayr has assisted the board in purchasing quality wet weather clothing for the River Ayr Bailiffs at a greatly reduced price. Bailiffs are active on the system day and night in all weathers and until now have used their own wet weather clothing.
Over the last two seasons the bailiffs have made great savings on fuel by simply having patrols planned and coordinated. The savings made have contributed towards the purchase of the clothing.
