Across the catchment, we have seen signs of spawning but few fish as yet. The upper tributaries have their share of fish as does the main stem but with high water levels, seeing them in action has been more difficult. We will keep an eye on things and try to get some better pictures at the first opportunity.
A compound redd on the Burn O’Need. The salmon were gone but at least the evidence that they were there remains, safe and sound for the next few months at least.
